an explanation about why i ranked the movies as i did
The real question is why did I rank the movies as I did?
The Pokemon movies are the lowest ranked which means they're not my favorite, obviously. While I love the Pokemon movies and in general the anime will have a place in my heart, they're not 'top quality' movies. They're made for children to enjoy. And yes, I enjoy them but they're not my all time favorite.
A TIER, Howls moving castle and weathering with you. "Didn't you say you love both those movies?" Yes. I did. While I love both these movies they're not something that I can continue to watch over again and get thrilled by. It's more of a one time thing yet I can still watch them and enjoy it.
And finally, S TIER. Wolf children, Your Name, Spirited Away, Totoro, and Princess Mononoke are my favorite movies.
But wait, I'm only going to be ranking only one of them as my all-time favorite movie and I'll finally have something to answer people when they ask.
So how do I conduct this? Simply by disqualifying all movies from below S TIER and compare each movie to each other, hardcore I know. It's not just going to be merely saying which plot is better it's going to be comparison of animation, voice acting (also plot....), etc.
